Nicely maintained trails, diverse and rewarding terrain through woods and along streams. Pretty reasonable price for a day pass of nordic skiing relative to other places in the region, though adult gear rentals are a bit pricey. We enjoyed the cozy nordic center cabin, and friendly staff.
The trail system is at an elevation that catches and holds snow-cover even during a winter that has been disappointing at lower elevations. Trail grooming is first class and maintained daily. Many backcountry options when conditions are right.
Friendly personnel and OK condition of the tracks, picturesque views
Beautiful but the beginner trails are not true beginner trails. We’ve come two years now and the long downhills can be difficult when conditions are slick or fast. Would recommend for more intermediate or advanced xc/nordic skiers.
love this ski resort! very organized, smooth operations and super friendly staff team. you can tell they put a lot of effort into the process management that serves for customers 100%. Parking may be challenging during peak season, if you don’t mind to we walk a bit. Many slopes, the beginner slopes and rental centers are at the resort/ village side, need to take gondola from the free parking lots. Don’t forget to get hot coco!
Great experience skiing after the latest snowfall, trails offered wonderful views and serene atmosphere in the forest The Nordic Center itself was very cozy, people thete were very helpful, and we were able to get rentals quickly even without pre-booking Highly recommend!
Staff was really friendly getting my 5 year old set up with a rental. They also advised us on a route. Trails were groomed and in the excellent condition. I spent the afternoon on the more difficult trials and didn’t see another person. Great place to xc ski.
This is the best touring center in the area. Some prefer Trapp Family Lodge, but I enjoy the peace and tranquility of the larger mountain. if you really are an expert skier however, Trapps and Stowe are connected with a cabin in the middle so you can ski from one place to the next. Highly recommended if you like Nordic skiing.
